SEEKING FULL-TIME, SKILLED
MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining dedicated properties, preparing apartments and commercial spaces for tenants, and working closely with the office to complete assigned work orders. Ideal candidate will have a strong background in general handyman duties, including but not limited to the following:
PLUMBING
Troubleshooting and repairing/replacing all facets of plumbing
MINOR ELECTRICAL
Troubleshooting and repairing/replacing ceiling fans, breakers, light switches, outlets, bulbs, ballasts, etc.
HVAC
Clearing condensate lines, cleaning out condensate trays, changing filters, etc., checking freon levels, testing/changing capacitors, and troubleshooting any other HVAC issues is a definite plus.
APPLIANCE REPAIR
Troubleshooting and replacing as needed: refrigerator relays/overloads, stove burners, burner sockets and infinite switches, garbage disposals, dishwasher repair, etc.
APARTMENT & COMMERCIAL SPACE PUNCHES
Changing locks, drywall repair, paint, replacing switch/outlet covers, repairing sliding glass doors, replacing blinds, replacing and cutting/fitting ceiling tiles, repairing bi-fold closet doors, cabinets, drawers, etc.
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE
• Valid Drivers License required
• Ability to execute in a fast-paced, multi-task environment
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Apartment maintenance experience is preferred, but hotel/resort maintenance experience will still be considered
• EPA Certification a definite plus
REQUIRED DUTIES
• Mandatory participation in the On-Call rotation
• Inspect and maintain company tools and equipment in good working order at all times.
• Perform minor and routine maintenance and upkeep of company equipment on a regular basis
• Maintain adequate inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials to handle all common repairs and situations
• Assist in keeping the grounds neat and free of litter.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by the office.
• Learn and comply with all company safety rules.
